Which brand this profile covers

Jackpotjoy is an online bingo and casino brand at jackpotjoy.com. Its corporate details make a good lesson for newcomers, because three different names appear as soon as you look behind it: the brand itself, a licensed company with a Gibraltar head office, and a group listed in Athens. This profile sets out what each official record shows, how the records fit together and where they stop.

What the licensing record shows

The register names Gamesys Operations Limited as the licensee for jackpotjoy.com. The same record lists two other active domains, doublebubblebingo.com and ballycasino.co.uk, plus one inactive domain, megawayscasino.com. It also lists nine domains with the status White Label, including monopolycasino.com, virgingames.com and several Rainbow Riches addresses.

That last status deserves attention. In a white-label arrangement, a licensed operator runs a gambling website that customers see under a separate brand. The Gambling Commission's guidance is clear on the key point: responsibility for the compliance of white-label websites sits with the licence holder and cannot be transferred to anyone else. So the register tells you which company answers to the regulator for Virgin Games and Monopoly Casino in Great Britain. It does not tell you who owns those brand names, or on what terms they are used.

Who sits above the licensee

Bally's Intralot S.A. lists Jackpotjoy among its brands, together with Virgin Games, Monopoly Casino, Double Bubble Bingo, Bally's Bet, Rainbow Riches Casino and Botemania. It describes itself as a global iGaming, lottery and sports betting operator listed on the Athens Stock Exchange. It was formed in October 2025, when Intralot combined with Bally's International Interactive business, and Bally's Corporation is its majority shareholder.

The completion announcement for that 2025 deal fills in the history. The business that moved into Intralot was Bally's International Interactive, described as formerly Gamesys Group, and the transaction left Bally's holding a 58% equity interest in Intralot. That explains the name on the licence: Gamesys survives as the name of the licensed company, while the group that now presents Jackpotjoy as its brand is Bally's Intralot.

What is shared, and what the records leave open

The register page does not name a parent company, and Bally's Intralot's description of its brands does not name its licensed subsidiaries. The chain from Bally's Corporation to Bally's Intralot, then to Gamesys Operations Limited and finally to Jackpotjoy is consistent across the sources, but each link comes from a different document. That is why each one is cited separately below the article.

The records also leave practical questions unanswered. They do not say whether Jackpotjoy shares customer accounts with the other websites run by the same licensee, and they do not say whether Virgin Games or Monopoly Casino count as sister brands in an ownership sense. Shared operation is confirmed; anything more is not.

Has ownership changed?

Yes, at group level. The combination of Intralot and Bally's International Interactive completed on 9 October 2025, and our ownership update on that deal explains what moved. Separately, Bally's Intralot has agreed to buy evoke, the owner of William Hill and 888. The most recent source we checked, dated 23 October 2026, still described that deal as pending, and it does not change who runs Jackpotjoy.

Where to go next

Compare this with Mecca Bingo, where the brand's group and its licensee share the Rank name. For the difference between running a website and owning a brand, read shared ownership vs shared software. Group-level guides are collected under Operator Groups.

In short

Jackpotjoy is run in Great Britain by Gamesys Operations Limited, a licensee with a Gibraltar head office. The brand sits in the portfolio of Bally's Intralot, whose majority shareholder is Bally's Corporation, and the licensee's name reflects the business's Gamesys history. White-label listings under the same licensee show shared operation, not confirmed shared ownership.
